Beauty and The Beast Tag

Hi guys,

I know I’m posting pretty late into the day by my standards but I suddenly got the urge to post so I did a quick search for a Tag I could do because I haven’t done one in ages and this popped up and fun fact: I LOVE BEAUTY AND THE BEAST!! It is probably one of my all-time favourite Disney films. It was also one of the first drama related things I did, and I got to be Belle by some miracle, so it will always hold a special place in my heart ❤ So when I saw this I just had to do it despite the fact I was not tagged. I saw this on Ms.Victorious’s blog and have linked it HERE for you guys to go and see what she wrote because he had some pretty great answers.
Without Further ado, let’s get right into it!

1.“Oh what a guy, Gaston!” A villain you can’t help but love.

This is easy, and for any of you who tune in here often then you will probably be able to guess the guy I am about to rant about in block caps…
FLLLLAAAAKKKEEEE!!!!!
Aka, Blake from the Lux Series by Jenifer L. Armentrout. She is an incredible author, of an incredible series that I cannot recommend enough. And although Blake isn’t the Big Bad, he is not a good guy. Yet I can’t help but love him and I cried so much when something happened in book 2 to him, but I have never sobbed as much as I did when a certain thing happens in book 3 to my wee baby. I should not love a villain this much.

2.“Here’s where she meets Prince Charming” Your OTP.

As a reader of basically solely romance, this is like asking me to pick my favourite children. But after great deliberation, I would have to say it is Kami and Jared from the Lynburn Legacy Series by Sarah Rees Brennan. I have ranted on many occasions about how much I love them. HERE is my full review of the series which has a whole section just on their relationship, if you’re interested. They also caused me great pain and HERE is a SPOILER of a moment in their relationship that killed me to my core, if you’re interested in that.

3. “I want so much more than this provincial life” A character destined for greater things.

This was easy. Rusty from the Lynburn Legacy Series by Sarah Rees Brennan again… He just got such a bad straw in life. He was a ray of sunshine in a world of grey for the characters. And he is constantly pulling up a bad situation after bad situation through no fault of his own. Except for the fact that he does anything for his family and friends, hence why his life is so screwed because he doesn’t care about what happens to him as long as everyone he loves is happy. I always think, what could he have achieved if he had gotten out of Sorry-in-the-Vale?
I have a very very very mini character profile on just him HERE but be warned now. IT HAS MAJOR SPOILERS!

4. “Be our guest!” A book that made you hungry.

I’m being really unimaginative in this post cause it’s the Lux Series by Jenifer L. Armentrout again. Because of their abilities, they are constantly in the kitchen eating something. And especially in the early books, it is where a lot of conversations use it to segway or startup. They also eat mundane things so I was always intrigued and hungry because of it.

5. “Beauty and the Beast” Opposites attract.

I found this tough because I like a lot of hate to love books and I thought that meant they were opposites at first but thinking deeper, they often don’t get on because they are so similar. In the end, I think Haley and Bryce from Blackmail Boyfriend by Chris Cannon were probably the biggest opposites. I mean the plot revolves around their class difference and then the same things that divide them after. I still really liked them though.

6. “But there’s something in him that I simply didn’t see” A character who is more than they appear.

Easy! Shane from the Mad World Series by Christine Zolendez. Without spoiling. Let’s just say there’s more to him than meets the eye.

7. “I was innocent and certain, now I’m wiser but unsure” A book that changed you in some way.

Falling Fast by Sophie McKenzie. This was the book that made me fall in love with reading. I had never particularly enjoyed reading before reading this aged 12 so for me this will always be one of my favourite books of all time. It made me change my outlook on people too, not everyone is as put together as they first appear, so I should never judge a book by its cover. Which is an incredible lesson to learn at aged 12 because high school drama can be messed up without a good head on your shoulders. I’d like to think that I survived because of what this book series helped teach me.

8. “Kill the Beast!” A book you picked up because of hype.

Twilight by Stephanie Meyer. I was years too late for the major hype but it didn’t stop me loving and seeing just why this series was loved by so many including myself.

9. “I’ll never shake away the pain” A book or moment that always makes you cry.

Do you know me? I cry at everything! XD
Picking one is basically impossible. A book that doesn’t make me cry, doesn’t get 5 stars in my eyes. So anything I’ve given 5/5 stars is something that made me sob.

10. “How does a moment last forever” A book that you’ve loved since you were little.

Like I said earlier, I didn’t really like books until I was 12ish. So other than the Flynn Series, another book series I fell for was the Once Series by Morris Gliezman, which was about the Nazi invasion of Poland. So a lovely cheery book for a 12-year-old to be reading. It was incredible. And educational. And heart-wrenching. I totally recommend.

And that’s all guys. What did you think of my answers? What would you have said? Leave them down below in the comments or do the tag yourself because I tag YOU!
See you tomorrow for an Interview with a brilliant author that I have not talked about enough on here, so tune in then to see who it is.
