Comestibles

Wednesday’s Word of the Week: Comestibles

Meaning: perishable food items.

Examples: milk, cheese, fruit and veg, any food that has a relativity short lifespan.

Where I Heard It: My dad uses this all the time when we go shopping as he kindly takes me food shopping when I’m at uni so I don’t have to pay. Thanks Dad ❤

Pronunciation: Com-est-ah-blll-s
