My 200th Post

Hi guys,

How’s your week been? Mine has been pretty chill other than I realised that this would be my 200th post on this blog and had to switch up my pre-planned schedule for it. As I said in my 100th post milestone post I thought it was a miracle that this blog outlasted my summer holidays nearly two years ago. So to be sitting now with 200 posts under my belt seems insane to me. So if you’re interested in a trip down memory lane…proceed this way. –>

My first post went live on the 16th of July 2017. I hadn’t enjoyed reading for very long and I was definitely very inexperienced when it comes to what makes a good book. I loved reading blogs so I thought I should give one a go considering I am quite opinionated when it comes to my thoughts on books, and that my friends probably deserved a break from having to put up with my bookish rants.

Since then my stats look something like this:

Since July of 2017 (I year and 8 months ago), my blog has had 3,802 by 1589 visitors. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to read my rambles.

People from 54 different countries have read my blog. I can’t even quite fathom that.

I have received 949 likes and 595 comments. Your support is unbelievable and for once I don’t have the words to describe how grateful I am.

I went through a big dent last year where I didn’t post for three months…hopefully I don’t let that happen again. I can’t promise to continue the daily posts forever but I will not let it slip to that point again.

In all my blog posts combined, I have written a total of 166,517 words…which seems insane! If only writing my uni essays was so simple XD

My favourite Four posts that I have written from the past 100 are:

1. My Review of Wolf by Wolf by Ryan Graudin because I put so much effort into making sure I wrote a great and thorough review.
2. I’m kind of cheating but I am putting the whole series of posts that I dubbed Let’s Get Chatting…(One, Two and Three *so far*) because I adore to hear your guys thoughts and I feel free and safe to speak my mind on whatever topics take me, which is extremely liberating.
3. Top 5 Saddest Character Deaths (Spoilers Obvs) because I adored writing it. It took me down memory lane and made me so happy to think of some of the characters I adored but often forget about because they are minor characters.
4. My interview with Annalisa Grant. Of all the interviews I have done this was by far my favourite because her Lake Series was a huge turning point for me enjoying reading and without her, maybe my blog wouldn’t be here at all. Plus she was absolutely lovely. One of the sweetest people I have had the pleasure to chat to through this incredible platform.

I want to say one last huge thank you to the 489 people who follow my blog and give it the occasional read.I hope that you keep stopping by. Thanks for all the comments and love I have been getting recently. This community is incredible and I wouldn’t change it for the world. Now enough of the soppy stuff. See you soon ❀
