Hi Guys,
How has your day been? Today I thought I would bring back something I tried last July (Teaser Tuesday #1). I saw Rainne from Rainne’s Ramblings do this and I had never seen it before and it seemed like so much fun, so I gave it a shot and you guys seemed to really like it so it’s back! Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by The Purple Booker. The weekly meme wants you to add books to your TBR, or just share what you are currently reading.
I haven’t quite grasped the idea of this yet. If I pick my current read which I’m only a few chapters into, how do I know if the sentence I pick is a spoiler or not since I’ve not read it. But if I pick a book I have read already then it’s not my current read. That’s today’s conundrum.
Here are the rules:
Anyone can play along! Just do the following…
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
-BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!) - Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

- “I knew that everything came down to her shorts. All of the answers were in that ass line – the reduction of all fear, all unknown, all nothingness, eclipsed by that ass line.”
- “I suppose that whenever you’re addicted to something, this is what they mean when they say you forget about the consequences and don’t care about the other side. All I cared about was my plan.”
These are both from my current read The Pisces by Melissa Broder. I’m only 3 chapters in but so far it’s interesting. It’s quite insightful about small things and I love that kind of thing. Hopefully a full review for this will be up on in a week or so ❤

This is a cool little challenge and the quotes were pretty interesting 😀
