Hi guys,
Happy Monday! I know a lot of people aren’t fans of Monday but I am because don’t have class so I can spend time reading and tidying my flat that has managed to fall into disarray in the space of like 2 days since I deep cleaned everything. Anyway, enough about my lack of domestic ability – let’s talk about this cute new post idea that I saw on Bookidote. Basically I share my top 3 most anticipated releases for this month, for each category. I’ve tweaked it slightly to fit me more but definitely check out Lashaan Balasingam’s version cause that’s what I fell in love with. I thought it was such a cute idea and kind of fitted nicely with the monthly wrap up, books I bought this month, Monthly TBR kind of posts that I love doing every month. I felt it had more of a personal life touch to it also which I loved, cause as much as I adore books I also love chatting about movies and TV and music etc, and I want to talk about that on here too. I want to hear your opinions on it below – should I keep this up in further months or it my wrap up’s enough? So without further ado, let’s give this post a shot.
Book Releases:

Not that I haven’t mentioned this book like 12000 times in the past couple of posts but I am so unbelievably excited that Jus Accardo has finally written the 4th and final book in the Denazen Series – Transcendent. It actually comes out the day today (March 2nd) and I’ve already added it to my cart.
The boy she’d lost, and finally found again, is not the same boy she remembers. As one of the most powerful Sixes, Kale has changed in ways Dez can’t ignore. He swore he’d never kill, and now he’s out for blood. He swore he’d never harm her, and now he struggles to control his fatal touch. They’ve been to hell and back, over and over, but this time they might not survive the fire. When the truth at the root of the Denazen Corporation’s origins begins to unfold, those behind the scenes will do anything to keep it hidden. Dez and Kale will be pushed to their breaking point. As long buried secrets come to light, they must fight for their freedom—and each other—as they never have before. Kale’s destructive power could win the battle, if he doesn’t lose himself to it in the process. Or Dez will be faced with an impossible task—saving the world from the boy she loves.

Thorn by Intisar Khanani is the next new release on my list. It comes out of the 24th of the month. I think it sounds so gripping. Plus there has to be a romance so I’m sold.
A princess with two futures. A destiny all her own.
Between her cruel family and the contempt she faces at court, Princess Alyrra has always longed to escape the confines of her royal life. But when she’s betrothed to the powerful prince Kestrin, Alyrra embarks on a journey to his land with little hope for a better future.
When a mysterious and terrifying sorceress robs Alyrra of both her identity and her role as princess, Alyrra seizes the opportunity to start a new life for herself as a goose girl.
But Alyrra soon finds that Kestrin is not what she expected. The more Alyrra learns of this new kingdom, the pain and suffering its people endure, as well as the danger facing Kestrin from the sorceress herself, the more she knows she can’t remain the goose girl forever.
With the fate of the kingdom at stake, Alyrra is caught between two worlds and ultimately must decide who she is, and what she stands for.

Hunting November (Killing November #2) by Adriana Mather. I haven’t read the first one, but as I was hunting through Goodreads for new releases I stumbled onto this and it seems amazing, so I will definetly be picking up the first one in the series.
Surviving a few weeks at the world’s most lethal boarding school was one thing. But now comes the real test: Can November Adley find her missing father before her enemies find her? Subterfuge is the name of the game in this thrilling sequel to Killing November, from the #1 New York Times bestselling author of How to Hang a Witch.
After surviving a crash course in espionage at the mysterious Academy Absconditi, November has only one purpose: finding her missing father. Along with fellow student (and heartthrob) Ash, November follows the clues that her father left, embarking on the deadliest treasure hunt of her life. The first clue is in her hometown, where old friends beckon and unexpected enemies lurk around every corner. The second clue is in Europe, where revelations about her family’s history will plunge her into an international web of deception, lies, and intrigue. The third clue is deep in enemy territory, surrounded by the most skilled assassins and master strategists, and where everyone wants her and her father dead. Can one girl with limited training infiltrate a centuries-old organization that is powerful enough to topple empires? November only knows that she’ll do whatever it takes to save her father . . . or die trying.
TV Show Releases:
- Greenhouse Academy Season 4 – 20th March. On Netflix.
Students at elite Southern California boarding school The Greenhouse must work together to conquer challenges after uncovering an evil plot. - Hypothetical Series 2 – UK TV Play.
Dave’s panel comedy show `Hypothetical’ tests two teams of comedians on their ability to cope with a series of hypothetical scenarios. Comedian Josh Widdicombe poses the titular hypothetical questions, such as `You have to take a selfie with Nicholas Cage within 48 hours or you die.’ How do you do it? which lead to an entertaining discussion, with in-studio stunts and even the odd celebrity cameo. The questions are spread over three rounds, requiring the guests to think quickly and come up with witty responses to the interrogation. The second host, James Acaster, ensures that ridiculous rules are enforced, and scores the guests’ attempts at dealing with the hypothetical situations, a perfect combination of hosts and scenarios to guarantee a comedic work-out. - Friday Night Dinner Season 6 – Channel 4
The titular mealtime is anything but normal for brothers Adam and Jonny Goodman, siblings in an eccentric Jewish family who return home each week for free eats. When they’re not busy playing pranks on each other, they’re breaking bread with their parents: father Martin likes to stroll around shirtless and collect science magazines, while mom Jackie is obsessed with `MasterChef’ and tries her best to inject an air of normalcy into the insanity that always ensues. And of course, supper just wouldn’t be the same without an appearance from Jim, a creepy neighbour whose frequent visits elevate him to `stalker’ status.
Movie Releases:
- No Time To Die – I love Bond films, I’m not the biggest fan of Daniel Craig’s bond but I’d never miss out on one in the series.
- Mulan – I am so mad about this film. It has no music and no talking dragon – like what is even the point. Not the same film at all. And the reasoning for taking them out is majorly flawed. But I still want to see it, it could be amazing…but I’ve not got high hopes.
- Emma – this has one of my favourite people, Miranda Hart and I love a Bronte novel so I will definitely be checking this one out.
Music Releases:
- The Shires – Good Years
Unfortunately I only have one album that I’m excited for this month, but maybe next month will have more releases I’m excited for.
Personal Life:
This is the part I liked most about this post idea. For my life this month I’m excited because It’s kind of like uni is coming to an end in a sense, I have exams in May but other than that March is when my classes finish and essay’s are due. Means I might have less time for things like reading and writing this month, but at least the end is in sight.
I’m also excited because I have a couple of balls coming up soon which will be fun cause who doesn’t love getting all dressed up. My boyfriend’s 21st birthday is also coming up, and that will be fun! It’s also my flatmates 20th birthday so I’m sure we’ll be celebrating that in style too! March for me is mainly uni work, but it will all be worth it in the end!
I hope you liked this post cause I quite enjoyed writing it! Anything you are excited for this march? Tell me below! Have a great day and see you tomorrow 🙂

Have you heard that No Time to Die will be delayed by 6 months due to the whole coronavirus outbreak and whatnot? 😦 Thanks for the shoutout, Maisy! Glad you enjoyed this format. 😀
