Hiya,
How has your week been going? Not much change in mine, it’s pretty normal. Today’s post is my third attempt at Book Spine Poetry. I always enjoy doing this, even if it causes me undue amounts of stress trying to come up with something good. Here are my other two attempts if you are interested. (One and Two) I got my Bestie’s to give this a go. Cara’s attempt is going to be on in this post with mine and Anna’s is on her blog so check that out them both because they are much better than mine ⤠I found this when I was in need of an idea for a post and stumbled onto this post by Vivatramp. For anyone who didn’t see my last attempt here rules:
THE RULES:
- You pick out some books from your bookshelf and turn the titles into a piece of poetry.
- You can add punctuation, but no words.
- You cannot use any books you have used before
- List the books and their authors that you used.
Like I said last time, it is far harder than you would first assume. This time it was even more difficult because I am slowly running out of titles that make any sense. It’s situations like this that I am happy I am constantly buying books. XD.

The Nightmare Affair
Starry Eyes, Head over Heels, The One and Only
Call It What You Want.
Paradise Lost
We Were Liars, Along for the Ride
How Hard Can Love Be?
You Against Me Sweat Pea
For Once in my Life
Nothing Left to Lose
The Books I Used:
Title: The Nightmare Affair by Mindee Arnett
Starry Eyes by Jenn Bennett
Head over Heels by Holly Smale
The One and Only by Sophie McKenzie
Call It What You Want by Brigid Kemmerer
Paradise Lost by John Milton
We Were Liars by E. Lockhart
Along for the Ride by Sarah Dessen
How Hard Can Love Be? by Holly Bourne
You Against Me by Jenny Downham
Sweet Pea by C J Skuse
For Once in my Life by Marianne Kavanagh
Nothing Left to Lose by Kirsty Moseley
I’m not 100% sure what my poem means, I get the idea that it’s written by a girl who has found out she was with a guy who was married, making her the other woman and she can’t decide what to do because she loves him. But what do you guys read it as?
This is Cara’s Book Spine Poetry:
