May Wrap Up 2020

Hi guys!

These are always my favourite posts to write. There’s something so satisfying about writing out everything you’ve done in a month. It makes me feel so productive. They also happen to be super long, so I should probably stomp rambling and just get into it.

Reading Breakdown:

Books I planned to Read: 5
Books I Read: 5
Books I Read that weren’t on my TBR: 2

Total Pages: 1537

Read:

Nothing Left To Lose, (Guarding the Broken #1&2) by Kirsty Moseley – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (Full Review Here)
Man Crush Monday by Kirsty Moseley- ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (Full review Here)
The Rest of the Story by Sarah Dessen – ⭐⭐⭐(Full Review Here)
The Westing Game by Ellen Raskin – ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Currently Reading:

Exactly the same as last month, I’ve not really read on any either. I should probably give up on this but haven’t yet is Obscured by C.M Boers. I read this a couple of years ago when it was sent to me to review, however, looking back I don’ think I gave it a very fair review so I am rereading it to see whether I still agree. I started this months ago, but it’s got supernatural/fantasy elements and I haven’t been in the mood for that recently so I haven’t wanted to pick it back up. In January I was sitting at about 70%. In March I got to 72%. And now I’m sitting at 74% so you know I’m getting there. When I first started rereading I got through it so quick and was loving it. I had no clue why I gave it such a harsh review and then I got to the 70% mark and it’s like a completely different writer has taken over. So disappointing.

Abby Martin thought she was an ordinary girl about to start high school. But when her mom announces that they’re moving to Arizona, vivid nightmares start plaguing Abby’s nights. As she settles into her new school and a cute guy named Pete catches her eye, she hopes that life might somehow get back to normal. To Abby’s horror, “normal” becomes a thing of the past as she’s swept up into a world of immortal protectors wielding supernatural gifts. When Abby realizes she’s a pawn in a centuries-old feud, she must figure out who she can trust before she’s caught in the crossfire. Prepare yourself for heart-pounding suspense in the world of Obscured, where nothing is as it seems and danger lurks in unexpected places.

Favourite Thing This Month:

My favourite thing this month really has been my blog. I’ve been putting a lot of time into it and I hope you can tell that in the posts I’ve been getting out. I’ve also been loving playing Civ VI again. After having not played it in a good long while. Lastly, my bullet journal. I know I say this every month but It’s just so darn lifechanging to not mention. It really makes everything so easy and fun. I can’t recommend them enough!

So that’s it for this month’s wrap up. I hope you enjoyed this and that you are all safe and healthy and have a great weekend! ❤

    1. I had never seen it before and it was incredible. I was skeptical cause I love the original so much but it was perfect! Maybe even better than the first. They adapted on it but not so much it was different. And the additions were so good! Just amazing ❤️

  1. I agree, it’s such a great feel to check off books from a list, and a wrap up is the most satisfying post of the month 😀
