Hi guys!
This wrap up is going to be so much quicker than normal because I have read nothing this month. I’m going to blame it partially on my reading slump and partially on NaNoWriMo because I was super focused on that and it took up a lot of my time. But I will still have all my other faves of this month, so at least it won’t be super short. This balances out my super long wrap up from last month. Enjoy!
Reading Breakdown:
Books I planned to Read: 4
Books I Read: 0
Books I Read that weren’t on my TBR: 0
Total Pages: 0
Currently Reading:
A Game of Wings and Marks by Rebecca Crunden. This was kindly sent to me by the author. I started it at the end of June. I then had my slump and I just picked it up again the other day. I am loving the high impact drama of the start and I can’t wait to keep reading.

When Octavia Coal goes to the mountains to clear her head, she doesn’t expect to find an angel in trouble. He tells her his name is Tamiel and he’s one of the Irin – the army of angels tasked with keeping demons from overwhelming humanity. But Tamiel broke a sacred law – he fell in love with a human – and now he’s being hunted by the same angels he once served. With nowhere else to go, Octavia and Tamiel – along with Jack, the human in question, and her brother Caleb – appeal directly to Zev, the Demon of Games. A trickster of unparalleled power, Zev gives nothing for free, and the gift he offers Octavia to keep Tamiel alive comes with a confusing catch: He makes her the Healer of Raphael, archangel and Commander of the Irin. Suddenly a target for both angels and demons, Octavia quickly learns that the only way to survive is to play the game better than they do. The only problem is, she doesn’t know whose game she’s playing …
Music Faves:
I listen to music a lot when I write because it helps inspire me but a lot of the time it is stuff that I am already a big fan of or that fits a certain character or story line, so not much new stuff in this list this month but still some great tunes anyway.
Also…I watched Hamilton this month and Wow… so while I love all the songs in Hamilton I will just put down my absolute faves so that this isn’t 8000 songs long. But I will link a playlist to the whole album too hehe.
TV/Movie Faves:
This is another busy list this month! I’m still watching Criminal Minds which took up a lot of time but well worth it! I should get it finished next month though which I’m so sad about because you can never have enough Reid in life.
Warrior Nun – ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Hamilton – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Taskmaster (Rewatch) – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Poldark (Season 1) – ⭐⭐⭐
The Flash (Rewatch) – ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Criminal Minds (Seasons 6-12) – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Death in Paradise (Rewatch) – ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Oceans 8 (Rewatch) – ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Cursed – ⭐⭐⭐ (Review Here)
Miranda (Rewatch) – ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Beauty and the Beast *Tv show (Rewatch) – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Youtube Faves:
I haven’t been watching too many new Youtubers this month because I basically spent every free moment on Criminal Minds. I have been basically just watching Peace and Saraity ASMR‘s videos on repeat. I write with it in the background, I read, I tidy, I sleep. It’s perfect to have in the background for everything you do ever.
Favourite Blog Post of the Month:
My favourite blog post I did this month was my 3 Year Blogiversary post because I am so proud of not only that post but everything I have achieved on my blog recently and just overall very happy with it.
The other two blog posts I adored this month were writing related because it’s been Camp NaNoWriMo and I needed the help.
The first was the Sexy Thesaurus Series by Laurel Clarke – super handy for my NA WIP.
And then probably one of the best blog posts I’ve ever read ever (I have told so many of my writing friends about this because it was not only beyond helpful but also super funny) is 25 Ways To Unstick Your Story by Chuck Wendig. Just AMAZING! You need to check it out!!
Favourite Thing This Month:

I loved my Watermelon Bullet Journal theme for July – It was just so cute and I wish I used it more. Stupid Reading slump!
Obviously Camp NaNoWriMo was a big fave this month for me. I wrote a whole post about what I got up to with it HERE. One of the characters I am currently writing has quickly shot up to become my all-time favourite that I have ever written and I just want to keep writing her.
Lastly, I got a snood knitting set for my birthday. And I fell in love with knitting. My next project is going to be a blanket/quilt for my new flat. If you’ve never tried knitting I highly recommend. I picked it up surprisingly quickly and it was so obscenely satisfying. P.S Ignore the bad selfie and just appreciate the knitting haha.
So that’s it for this month’s wrap up. I hope you enjoyed this and that you are all safe and healthy and have a great weekend! ❤

That Neck Deep song ❤ They're my fav band, for sure.
