Down the TBR Hole #2

Hey Guys!

It’s Sunday – and you know what that means! REVIEW DAY!
People who Read the Title: *cough cough* May, this isn’t a review post!
People who Read a Lot of My Posts: *Hmmm..* May, this feels very like the last time you did a Down the TBR Hole…
Yeah…well you are both right again! I know it isn’t a Thursday so I shouldn’t technically be doing a Down the TBR Hole post but my best friend Anna told me that I needed to clear out my TBR and I haven’t read any book that I could do a full review on recently so that’s why I am doing this today instead of my typical review Sunday post. Also this took me far too long to type out because I have pulled a muscle or a nerve or something in my shoulder so now I can’t move my left arm without a stabbing sensation killing me haha. So apologies for potentially a shorter post depending on how long I can keep up the typing.

Anwaaaaaay, if you don’t know what the Down the TBR Hole Bookish Meme is, then I will explain. It was originally created by Lia at Lost in a Story but now it is done by basically every book blogger and their second aunties, cousins, dog twice removed. Here are the rules, and let’s jump into this!

THE RULES FOR DOWN THE TBR HOLE:
  • Go to your Goodreads to-read shelf.
  • Order on ascending date added.
  • Take the first 5 (or 10 if you’re feeling adventurous) books
  • Read the synopses of the books
  • Decide: keep it or should it go?

Glimpse by Stacy Wallace Benefiel

This does sound really good and very like a lot of books I read but I haven’t been liking many supernatural reads at the moment so my first reaction was to kick it. Then I found out that it’s only like 250 pages and I decided that I should keep it because it does sound very cute and definitely gives me Fallen Star by Jessica Sorenson vibes.

KEEP IT

Artichoke Hearts by Sita Brahmachari

Nope. I read the blub and instantly knew this wasn’t for me. I don’t even remember adding it to my TBR to be honest but either way it is gone now.

KICK IT

So Not Happening by Jenny B. Jones

This is another one that I don’t remember adding and it is really not my cup of tea now. It just sounds dull and kind of stereotypical. I am in the mood to be brutal about the list today so I am kicking this one.

KICK IT

Also Known As by Robin Benway

I don’t even have to think about this! Keep it all the way! Spies, Romance, High School Drama – this seems like everything I love in a book.

KEEP IT

Breaking up with Barrett by Katy Regnary

Can I stop writing my post right now to read this? This is exactly the book I have been looking for all month and it was hidden on my own TBR?!? And the fact it is the first in a series of 6!! Do I even need to say Keep?

KEEP IT

So I know I was joking about ending my post here to go and read that but actually I am because the call of it is too strong haha! I found it so satisfying and I will definitely do it again! I decided just to do 5 the same as last time because it seemed to work quite well. Anyway, I hope you have a great day and I will see y’all tomorrow ❤
