Hi all!
How has your Monday been? Mine has been okay, I’ve just been doing Uni work and looking into getting a new Laptop for Christmas. There are so many different types and I don’t know what to go for but it’s fun to hunt either way.
Anyway, today’s post I thought I would mix it up and do something I have seen EVERYWHERE! But I have never actually done myself. I hope I do it right haha. It’s Monday, What Are You Reading? is when I talk about what I am currently reading, what I just read and what I plan to read. It’s hosted by the Book Date. I like that it is a little bit like a wrap up but in the middle of the month just to spice things up! So I hope you enjoy, let’s get on with it!
What I Read Last Week:
Last week I was pretty productive reading wise as I read Footnotes in Gaza by Joe Sacco, I Could Read the Sky by Pyke and O’Grady which were both for my English Lit Course. But then for my own personal reading I read Enemies and Lovers by Christine Zolendz which (spoiler for my review on Sunday) I adored!
What I am Reading:
I am currently reading Breaking Up With Barrett by Kate Regnary which I am loving. I will probably get it finished tonight if not by the time this post goes live. I found this in my Down the TBR Hole post yesterday, I am really enjoying it so far and it is really what I was in the mood for.
What I Plan to Read Next:
After having started Breaking Up with Barrett I decided to pick up the sequel, Falling for Fitz because I am enjoying the first in the series so much and I plan to get to it this week. I also need to read Braco by Lesleyanne Ryan for my English Literature Course, as well the sonnet sequences of Astrophel and Stella by Sir Phillip Sidney and Amoretti by Edward Spencer.

Though I’m not currently reading much. I did just start reading Bury Me Where They Fall which is a book I got in a subscription box this month but it’s only the second book I’ve picked up this month!

Seems alright so far – it’s a fantasy heavily inspired by the forms of european myth and folklore.
