Filibuster

Wednesday’s Word of the Week: Filibuster

Definition: A filibuster is a political procedure where one or more members of parliament or congress debate over a proposed piece of legislation so as to delay or entirely prevent a decision being made on the proposal.

Where I Heard It: I again asked my dad for a word for this week and this is what he suggested. I’m not very well versed on politics but I have to say it’s a nice word to say ahah.

Pronunciation: fil-ah-buh-ster

Stay safe guys!!
