Friday Finds #8

Hey Guys,

How has your week been? Mine has been stressful but good. I had two presentations due but I got through them both and I think I did okay. Now I only have one essay left to go before I finish for Christmas!
Anyway, today’s post was originally meant to be a sunshine blogger award but I just woke up and didn’t feel in the mood to do that so I thought about what I did want to do, and that was scour the internet for books that I want but definitely do not need haha!
Plus, I realised I haven’t done one of these since July so therefore this is severely overdue and I’m just going to start hunting – I hope you enjoy ❤

Netgalley:

I had never thought to check Netgalley for my Friday Finds posts before but I did it today for some reason and while I only found one book this time next time there may be more.

The Billionaire’s Fake Christmas Engagement (Elin Brother’s Christmas #2) by Leslie North.
I know normally I link to Goodreads, the cover and have the burb but this is currently not on Goodreads so I don’t want to show it encase it’s not allowed yet. The first in the series is on Goodreads if your interested at looking at that but the two aren’t directly linked other than a few overlapping characters. (I also picked that one up on Netgalley a week ago) I am quickly becoming a big fan of Leslie North’s books so I am excited to get to these.

Romance:

All I Want for Christmas by Joanna Bolouri
What if the love of your life was your best friend’s girlfriend, and you were the one that set them up? When Nick loses his job and is dumped by his glamorous but demanding girlfriend, he is forced to grudgingly accept work as a Santa at a local Christmas grotto. As his friends are getting married or promoted, Nick spends his days being terrorised by unfriendly elves and cried on by snotty, spoiled children. Then he meets 4-year-old Alfie. All Alfie wants for Christmas is for his mum, Sarah, to be happy again. Moved by the boy’s selfless wish, Nick arranges a date between Sarah and his best friend, Matt. But as Sarah and Alfie become part of all their lives, Nick realises that happiness for Sarah and Matt might mean heartbreak for himself.

Send Me Crazy (Hot in the City #1) by T. Gephart
A note, a pair of panties and a date.
When Quinn’s efforts to set up her best friend go awry, she finds herself with a crazy blind date. Could the mystery man be her soul mate? Nothing like an adventure, and at the very least, she was going to have some fun with it.

P.s) I really just want this whole series because they all sound incredible!

Wrong Text, Right Love (Against All Odds #1) by Claudia Y. Burgoa
Sex talk is my job. I’m an influencer. I run a popular blog where I give all kinds of dating tips, and girls all over the world thank me for helping them with their love lives. I wish I could follow my own advice because my love life is totally dead. I just drunk texted my ex-boyfriend… except, I didn’t. That text ended up going to someone else.
Oops. This new relationship is almost picture-perfect, just like my online life. I guess I give good… text.
He doesn’t have to put up with my colorful personality — as my hot next-door neighbor describes me. Or my messy schedule.
This long-distance relationship is the best thing that’s happened to me and I plan to keep it that way. Until we agree to meet up, and I’m freaking out.
When he meets the real me, will he hate me forever?
Or will we be one day telling our grandkids about that wrong text, right love?

That’s all for today. I tried to find more but not much was jumping out at me today. That’s probably a good thing though a I am currently drowning in netgalley reads because I let that get a little out of control. Anyway, I should probably work though some of those before I pick up any new books. I hope you have a great weekend, see you on Sunday ❤
