Hi all!
How has your Monday been going so far? Mine has mainly just been spent getting class work done since all my Live classes are on a Thursday so I like getting my lectures etc done as quickly as possible to take the stress off the rest of the week.
Anyway, today’s post I thought I would do another It’s Monday, What Are You Reading? post because I loved the last few times I have done it. It’s when I talk about what I am currently reading, what I just read and what I plan to read. It’s hosted by the Book Date. I like that it is a little bit like a wrap-up but in the middle of the month just to spice things up! So I hope you enjoy, let’s get on with it!
What I Read Last Week:
I am firmly still in the middle of my reading binge. I have read everyday for the past 2 weeks and I’m loving it. I haven’t read this consistently in ages. I have made a really big dent in my physical TBR and I’m super proud. The books I read last week were: Caleb Williams by William Godwin (for my University class), The Lock In by Phoebe Luckhurst, Kissing Lessons by Sophie Jordan and Glass Sword and King’s Cage by Victoria Aveyard (books #2 and #3 in the Red Queen Series). I just picked my three favourite covers to show from the 5 books I read.
What I am Reading:

I am currently reading Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo and while it took a little for me to get into it (around the 100 page mark) I am actually adoring it now! Leigh Bardugo’s writing is incredible and her characters are always brilliant. I love the more spy/heist type plot rather than the war plot of the Shadow and Bone trilogy. I love Kaz and Inej the most probably although Jespar and Nina are great too. No-one has stolen my heart as much as the Darkling yet but there is still time. I am definitely feeling a 5 star reading coming on!
What I Plan to Read Next:
I have a few books I plan to read next and I don’t have a solid order yet so I am just going to list them all. I have to read a collection of Blake and Coleridge’s Lyrical Ballad’s for my Uni course so I know I will do that first. Then the other 3 books I want to try to get to is A Court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J. Maas (I want to time me reading it with everyone reading ACOSF because despite pre-ordering it I don’t think it’s going to arrive for a while. Then I want to read War Storm by Victoria Aveyard after finishing the first three last week, I haven’t heard great things about this one but I am super excited to read it and see how the series ends. And then lastly on my TBR pile for next week is Crooked Kingdom which is the sequel to Six of Crows but I think it will be bottom of the pile, I don’t know. Unless Six of Crows ends on a massive cliff-hanger where I need to pick up Crooked Kingdom immediately it will probably be reading it nearer the end of the week.

I hope you guys liked this! I’m so happy with the reading I’ve been able to do lately and it’s just given me a whole new lease of life! I want to hear about what you’ve been reading in the past week or what you plan to read this week! Also what blog post did you write recently that was your favourite? I used to have so much time to check out everyone’s posts but now I feel like I have no time at all between Uni work and all the reading. So I want to hear about them! Anyway, gave a great day and I will see you on tomorrow with a book blitz ❤

Oh I’m glad you are enjoying Six Of Crows! I’m going to read that next month. Good luck with the uni work 🙂

I wasnt a fan of nina at first but now I really like her. I think after seeing her from Matthias’s POV is what changed my perspective of her
