February Wrap Up 2021

Hi guys!

Happy Friday. You excited for the weekend? I have a close reading exercise due next week for one of my classes and then a textual analysis due a couple days after so I’m going to be spending my weekend working on them probably.
I always say these are some of my favourite posts to write because there is something so rewarding about seeing all you accomplished in a month written down – but this month I am even happier with it because I read SO MUCH!! I have never read this much in one month. It is crazy and I have found so many new favourites. I read every single day this month which is unusual for me but it’s a new habit that I love and that I want to keep up. I hope you enjoy and I can’t wait to hear about some of your monthly favourites down below too!

Music Faves:

I had a very angsty music taste this month. I kept finding those YouTube playlists that are like “you are the villain of the story”, “You just married the villain to save your kingdom”, “You are the evil queen” kind of vibes. I was not a genre that I knew existed but it is such a vibe and definitely not totally inspired by the books I have been reading recently…hahah.

TV/Movie Faves:

I didn’t watch much this month because of the above mentioned reading binge, but I did still manage to fit the odd episode in here and there.

The Great Pottery Throwdown (Season 4) – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Death in Paradise (Season 10) – ⭐⭐⭐⭐
The Masked Singer UK (Season 2) – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
New Tricks – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐(Rewatch)
Fushigi Yuugi (I’m on Episode 10) – ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Mulan (2020) – ⭐⭐⭐⭐
What a Man Wants – ⭐⭐⭐
The Hunger Games – ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (Rewatch)
Bitten – ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (Rewatch)

Favourite Blog Post of the Month:

I sadly made very little time to check out blogs this month, just between Uni work, Reading, writing blog posts and also starting up a Bookstagram – I was stretched pretty thin. Hopefully I will be able to spend some more time looking at blogs in March.

My favourite posts of my own this month was probably my 500th Blog post because I love celebrating these milestones and I love seeing all the stats.

Favourite Thing This Month:

I have 2 favourites this month –

Firstly, Bookstagram! I love it and I wish I started it sooner. Getting to chat and interact with so many other book loving people is just amazing. If you are swithering on whether to start one or not – trust me! JUST DO IT!! You won’t regret it!

And the other new favourite I have is bookish merch. If you saw my haul the other day, you’ll see that I have gone a little crazy on Redbubble, Instagram and Etsy looking for merch and prints of the books I have been adoring. I have always wanted to get bookish merch before but I mainly read Indie books that didn’t have merch – so now that I have read some more prominent series (SoC, ACOTAR, S&B, Red Queen, FotA, etc) I am loving shopping for things to support these series. Plus, supporting small businesses and creators is always nice!

So that’s it for this month’s wrap up. I hope you enjoyed this and that you are all safe and healthy ❤ And I hope you have a great day and weekend and I will see you on Monday for my March TBR!

What have you been up to this month?
What was the best book you read?
What are you most excited for next month?

    1. I didnt mind the first book but it didnt blow me away. I wish we got to see Sam and Grace actually fall in love rather than them being in love already
