Wednesday’s Word of the Week: Canyon

Definition: a deep gorge in the earth

Where I Heard It: I was watching Avatar: The Last Airebender and was watching an episode set in a canyon and when I couldn’t think of a word for today I decided to pick that. It has a nice mouth sound – I don’t know how to describe it.

Pronunciation: Can-Yon
