Did I Read What I Hauled? #6

Hey Guys!

How is your Tuesday going so far? I was up until 4am last night trying to write a poem for my creative writing class but I am having no luck. Poetry isn’t my usual go to but I don’t normally struggle as much as this so I have no idea why I am finding it so difficult.
Today I am back with a Did I Read What I Hauled? post, I got the idea from KirstyReadsBlog. It’s pretty self-explanatory, I show you a list of the books I hauled in the past and see whether I have read them yet or not.
Today I am focusing on my August 2019 Haul and also my January and February 2020 Haul. Since they are both pretty short I thought I would both of them into this haul. Anyway, let’s make a start on the list.

August 2019 Haul

Totals: 8 Books
Read: 75%
Still To Read: 25%

January 2020 Haul

This first bunch of books are all things I had to read for my university course so I feel like it is sort of cheating since I didn’t read them because I wanted to but because I had to

  • Prometheus Bound by Aeschylus – READ
  • Frankenstein by Mary Shelley – READ
  • Paradise Lost by John Milton – READ
  • Renaissance Women Poets by Amelia Lanyer – READ
  • The Testament of Cresseid by Seamus Heaney – READ
  • The Island of Doctor Moreau by H.G Wells – READ
  • The Quarry Wood by Nan Shepherd – READ
  • Quicksand and Passing by Nella Larsen – READ
  • The Bloody Chamber by Angela Carter – READ

These are the books I bought just for my enjoyment

Totals: 13 Books
Read: 69%
Still To Read: 31%

February 2020 Haul

Totals: 3 Books
Read: 33%
Still To Read: 66%

So out of all of these the totals are:

Totals: 24 Books
Read: 66.6%
Still To Read: 33.3%

I think my percentages are getting better – but that definitely is due to all the paperbacks I have been reading recently. I actually hit my yearly reading goal yesterday – 52 books.
We’re only in March and I finished my entire yearly goal…I have no idea how I managed it since I never usually read this much. So I have upped it to 123 books.
Hopefully to be able to keep on track for that I will keep these percentages of read books going up.
Anyway, have a good day – I will see you tomorrow with my word of the week.
