It’s Monday, What Are You Reading? #6

Hi all!

I hope your weekend was good. How has your Monday been going so far? I’ve just been working on more poetry for my folio for Uni so not anything particularly interesting.
Anyway, today’s post is a It’s Monday, What Are You Reading? post. These have quickly become a monthly occurrence and I don’t think I will be stopping anytime soon because I am really enjoying them. I think they are great because they are a bit like wrap-up but in the middle of the month. It’s when I talk about what I am currently reading, what I just read and what I plan to read. It’s hosted by the Book Date. So I hope you enjoy, let’s get on with it!

What I Read Last Week:

I am last week I was a slower reading week for me recently – still far more than I typically would read however. I started Reborn by Jaymin Eve first but finished it only yesterday since it dragged quite a bit in the middle but otherwise it was a great conclusion to the series. I then read King and Tyrant by T.M Frazier because they were free on Kindle Unlimited and I wanted to make the most of my free trial which runs out at the start of next month. I did really enjoy both of them, but they were definitely darker than my typical read and come with many trigger warnings. I started and finished Wallbanger by Alice Clapton yesterday. I loved the writing style and the concept and it was just a super fun and quick read.

What I am Reading:

I am currently reading still reading These Violent Nights by Rebecca Crunden. It is definitely sinking in the middle a little and mildly confusing to read – but I want to power through, I just sadly haven’t been in a very Sci-Fi/Fantasy mood recently so haven’t been in the mood to pick it back up. The book I plan to pick up tonight is Carian Cole’s Don’t Kiss the Bride. After my surprise at how much I adored Penelope Douglas’s Birthday Girl last month, and King just last week, I knew I wanted to pick up another Age Gap romance and this was recced to me and on Kindle Unlimited so I decided to pick it up.

What I Plan to Read Next:

Next I hope to read Admonition by Kathryn Amurra, I loved her first novel which she also sent to me Soothsayer, so I definitely want to get to this soon. Also, I haven’t shown the cover because it hasn’t been revealed yet. I also want to read Anyone but Rich by Penelope Bloom since I recently got the paperback and it’s been sitting on my bedside table patiently waiting on me picking it up. Lastly, I hope to read The Perfect Bet by Anita Lemke because it is the last in the series and it has been on my goodreads forever so I only think it’s fair that I just get it read since it is relatively short.

I hope you guys liked this! I’m so happy with the reading I’ve been able to do lately, even if last week wasn’t as productive as I hoped it would be, I think I will make up for it this week.
I want to hear about what you’ve been reading in the past week or what you plan to read this week!
Also, what blog post did you write recently, leave the link below so I can check it out!
I used to have so much time to check out everyone’s posts but now I feel like I have no time at all between Uni work and all the reading. So I want to hear about them! Anyway, gave a great day and I will see you on Wednesday ❤
