Wednesday’s Word of the Week: Opalescent
Definition: showing many small points of shifting colour against a pale or dark ground.
Where I Heard It: I couldn’t think of a word for today so I asked a friend to pick and this is what he chose. It’s actually pretty fitting since my birthstone (June) is a Moonstone which has this awesome opalescent quality to it.
Pronunciation: oh-pal-eh-sent
