June Wrap Up 2021

Hi guys!

Usually I say this month has flown by but for me this month seemed actually kind of slow!
I always say these are some of my favourite posts to write because there is something so rewarding about seeing all you accomplished in a month written down. This is the first month this year where I have read under 10 books, I was in the worst slump which I have thankfully broken through so hopefully July will be more productive! I did however manage to hit the goal of 100 books read this year – which is crazy high for me! Anyway, I hope you enjoy and I can’t wait to hear about some of your monthly favourites down below too!

Reading Breakdown:

Books I planned to Read: 4
Books I Read: 7
Books I Read that weren’t on my TBR: 6
Books on TBR I didn’t read: 4

Music Faves:

Usually I link to loads of Youtube videos in this section, but I actually am a Deezer User (I have used it since I was 12) and I finally worked out that I can just link directly to my playlists on there.
This one is my monthly favourites playlist – I put my most played music of the month on there and then I clear it out at the end of the month and start fresh (sometimes I keep a track on for more than one month if I am really enjoying it)
I hope this link works, I’ll type out the songs on the playlist below just in case.

Scotland’s Home of the Year – ⭐⭐
Chicago Fire – ⭐⭐
Chicago Med – ⭐⭐
Sweet Tooth – ⭐⭐
Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team (Season 14) – ⭐⭐

Favourite Blog Post of the Month:

I’m becoming a broken record with this section sadly – I again made very little time to read all your blogs so please, leave your favourite posts of the last month linked below so I can check them out!

Favourite Thing This Month:

This month I got back into trying to learn French! It’s a language I really want to learn so hopefully I will keep it up this time. Another favourite of mine this month was meeting a couple of my bookstagram friends in real life! I travelled down to leeds for a few days to meet up with them and it was the highlight of the month. I’ve definitely made some lifelong friends here.

So that’s it for this month’s wrap up. I hope you enjoyed this and that you are all safe and healthy ❤ And I hope you have a great day and I’ll see you on Wednesday with my word of the week!

What have you been up to this month?
What was the best book you read?
What are you most excited for next month?

  1. Sounds like you had a good month, despite you may feel like it lacked in some areas 😊

Just today I finished my first book for this month. And it was an audiobook. “The success principles” by Jack Canfield.

This month I’ve been mostly busy starting up my own little business, which is going slow & steady.
If you feel like it, you can read about it in my first blog post. Which isn’t too hard to find, as I’ve only written 2 posts yet, so far 😅👍🏻

I hope you’ll be able to read more the next month 🤞🏻 And I hope to join you in that endeavour. Because I really haven’t read enough. Although my counter is past 30 for this year, so far 😎 definitely my personal best!
