Wednesday’s Word of the Week: Holiday

Definition: an extended period of leisure and recreation, especially one spent away from home or in travelling.

Where I Heard It: I chose it because I am currently on Holiday and it just made sense to pick it! I’m away with my family to the Isle of Skye. It’s so beautiful up here and if you’ve never been you definitely should go!

Pronunciation: Hol-eh-day
