June TBR 2020

Hi all,

How was your weekend? We had incredible sun so I spent most of my time in that. Mine has been mildly ruined by extremely painful headaches that have been coming in bursts all weekend. But I can’t believe that it’s the first of June already! Nearly halfway through the 2020. For me it’s just flown by, but I know that’s not the case for many. But anyway, Enough rambling, on with my TBR for the month!

Obscured by C.M Boers. Like I have been saying for ages, I am rereading this. Currently on 74% so I’m nearly done. I thought I had reviewed it harshly previously, so I thought I’d reread it but now I remember exactly why I didn’t like it hahaha.

New Standalone:

Theatrical by Maggie Harcourt. I’ve been wanting to read this for months but I just haven’t got to it yet. Contemporary Romances are perfect for the summer and I’m just in the mood for it.

Hope dreams of working backstage in a theatre, and she’s determined to make it without the help of her famous costume designer mum. So when she lands an internship on a major production, she tells no one. But with a stroppy Hollywood star and his hot young understudy upstaging Hope’s focus, she’s soon struggling to keep her cool… and her secret.

Another YA Contemporary Romance I want to get to this month is the Anatomical Shape of a Heart by Jenn Bennett. I’ve been desperately waiting to read Chasing Lucky but since it’s release date has been delayed I thought I’d read this next.

Beatrix Adams knows exactly how she’s spending the summer before her senior year. Determined to follow in Da Vinci’s footsteps, she’s ready to tackle the one thing that will give her an advantage in a museum-sponsored scholarship contest: drawing actual cadavers. I was kindly gifted Haze by Rebecca Crunden in exchange for an honest review, so I’m excited to get to this one. It sounds truly amazing!

I want to read the final book in the struck series, Scorched (Struck #4) by Joss Stirling. I read Shaken last month and just like the rest of the series – I adored it. I don’t think this will let me down.
